En primer lugar, vamos a hacer la PORTADA del tercer trimestre.

Como ya vimos, la estructura "THERE IS" y "THERE ARE" significa "hay". 

• THERE IS

Lo utilizamos en singular, cuando hay sólo una cosa, animal, persona, lugar, etc. EJEMPLOS:

- There is a supermarket.

- There is a train station.

* NEGATIVE: There isn't a shopping centre in Alcázar.

* QUESTIONS: 

Is there a bus station in Alcázar? Yes, there is / No, there isn't

• THERE ARE

Lo utilizamos en plural, cuando hay más de una cosa, animal, persona, lugar, etc.
- There are 5 parks.

- There are 2 schools.

*NEGATIVE: There aren't two train stations in Alcázar. 

* QUESTIONS:

Are there 2 schools in Alcázar? Yes, there are / No, there aren't

Por ello, vamos a hacer este ejercicio en el cuaderno. Tenéis que cambiar estas frases según el símbolo que se indique. EJEMPLO:

There is  a cat.

X There isn't a cat.
